Rep. Dennis Keene Appointed Vice-Chair of House Budget Review Subcommittee on Transportation

Frankfort, KY:  In another vote of confidence in Rep. Dennis Keene’s, (D-Wilder), legislative experience and accomplishments, House leadership has appointed Dennis Keene Vice-Chair of the Budget Review Subcommittee on Transportation in the House of Representatives.  Keene was appointed as a member of the committee last year. He also was re-appointed as chairman of the Licensing and Occupations Committee.

“This is another step forward for Northern Kentucky,” says Rep. Keene.  “As a member of the House Budget Review Subcommittee on Transportation, Campbell County and Northern Kentucky will have solid representation when road dollars are discussed,” said Keene.

Keene has remains as vice chair of the House Economic Development Committee and is a member of the Banking and Insurance Committee.

“These assignments will be of great value to my constituents and business community in Northern Kentucky as we strive to keep taxes under control and grow our economy even in these tough times,” said Keene.  “I call myself Campbell County’s Tax Relief Watchdog and I will continue to take that role very seriously.”

Keene represents the 67th House District in Campbell County and has deep family roots in Campbell County and in Eastern Kentucky.  He owns a business, Country Living Homes, located in Grant County and is an economic development advisor for EGC
