Frankfort, KY—The only member currently serving in the Leadership in the Kentucky House of Representatives, Representatives Dennis Keene (D-Wilder) has filed for reelection for the 2018 campaign cycle. Keene filed his paperwork in Frankfort on Wednesday afternoon.
“We are facing critical issues regarding pensions, taxes and in education, said Rep. Keene. I am proud to continue serving the people of my district in Campbell County and being a strong voice for Northern Kentucky’s needs in Frankfort.” Rep. Representative Keene served as Chairman of the Licensing, & Occupations Regulations Committee in the House of Representatives prior to being elected to House Democratic Caucus Chairman in 2017. A businessman, Keene currently serves on the House Licensing, Occupations & Administrative Banking & Insurance, and Natural Resources & Energy Committees.
Representative Dennis Keene has served the citizens of the 67th District (Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Silver Grove, Melbourne, Highland Heights, Southgate, and Wilder) in Campbell County since 2005.
